1 When loading and unloading the wire rope, it should be hoisted according to the lifting sign on the surface of the wooden shaft to avoid damage to the wooden shaft and packaging or scratching the surface of the wire rope.
2 Wire rope should be stored in a dry and ventilated place, do not rain or contact with acid or alkali.
Elevator wire rope installation
1 When installing and cutting the wire rope, the rope shaft should be placed flat on the bracket, and the rope should be laid clockwise according to the rolling direction of the round side mark to avoid internal stress on the wire rope.
2 Installation and construction should avoid the surface of the wire rope being worn, scratched and contaminated by hard objects, otherwise it will cause damage to the traction sheave and the wire rope.
3 When installing the wire rope, the free hanging time should be shortened as much as possible. Otherwise, the wire rope will rotate freely due to its own gravity, and even destroy the tanning parameters of the wire rope, causing partial relaxation of the wire rope. When the wire rope is working, the rope core is replaced by the wire strand. The hemp core is first damaged, which in turn seriously reduces the service life of the wire rope.
4 When the wire rope is installed, the internal stress of the wire rope should be fully eliminated (ie sufficient “release”), and then the two ends of the wire rope should be fixed. In order to avoid the partial tension of the wire rope during operation, the rotation or deformation occurs, and the elevator operation is unstable, resulting in shortened service life of the traction sheave and the wire rope.
5 After installing the wire rope, it must be carefully adjusted to make the tension of the wire rope consistent. The wire rope tension should be checked at any time during use and adjusted in time.
6 Wire rope is a very important safety component in elevators. The elevators designed and manufactured by elevator companies are equipped with wire ropes of different technical requirements according to their specifications. When replacing, they must use steel wire ropes that match the original design traction wheels. When replacing the traction sheave, the product that meets the original design requirements must be selected to avoid unnecessary losses.
7 When replacing the wire rope in the old ladder transformation, the traction sheave should be replaced at the same time, or the traction sheave groove should be processed. Otherwise, the traction wheel and the wire rope will be caused due to the mismatch between the original wheel groove of the traction sheave and the wire rope diameter. Mutual wear and slippage. When replacing the wire rope, the wire rope used in each elevator must be replaced at the same time.
Maintenance of elevator wire rope
1 Since the steel wire rope is composed of a plurality of steel wires (for example, the 8*19S structural steel wire rope is composed of 152 steel wire), under the working condition, the steel wire rope is bent to produce a large frictional force, and the wire rope is specially lubricated. The grease can reduce the friction between the steel wires under the premise of ensuring the friction between the wire rope and the traction sheave, and effectively extend the service life of the wire rope.
2 All wire ropes produced by Bouton (Tianjin) Wire Rope Co., Ltd. have been initially lubricated by a special spraying process. All steel wire surfaces are covered with a lubricating layer. If the surface of the wire rope is cleaned after installation, the wire rope must be timely After lubrication.
3 Regularly clean and maintain the surface of the wire rope (such as half a year or 100,000 times, depending on the environment and frequency of use), do not use liquid such as cleaning agent to clean the wire rope during cleaning and maintenance, otherwise it will affect the core The oil content and oil content in the process, which in turn affects the normal use of the wire rope.
4 When cleaning and maintaining the wire rope, the surface of the wire rope should be cleaned with a brush, cotton yarn, compressed air, etc. After the wire rope is cleaned, the wire rope special grease should be used to timely apply oil to the surface of the wire rope.
5 Excessive lubrication will not guarantee the friction between the wire rope and the traction sheave. The grease on the surface of the wire rope should be thin and uniform (according to the company's requirements for grease, the coating amount is different).
▲ Remember: Elevator wire ropes should not be used in an oil-free state. Unlubricated steel wire ropes can seriously affect the life of wire ropes and traction wheels.

2 Wear and slip between the wire rope and the traction sheave during elevator operation. It is recommended to check the following conditions:

(2) reviewing the elevator traction conditions;
(3) reviewing the shape and wrap angle of the traction sheave rope groove;
(4) Whether the wire rope grease is moderate;
(5) Whether the tension of the wire rope is adjusted consistently;
(6) Whether the wire rope is deformed during operation;
(7) Whether the wire rope vibrates in the hoistway;
(8) Whether the guide rails and guide shoes are installed accurately;
(9) Is the weight suitable?
1 The service life of the wire rope is determined by the material of the rope, the shape of the groove, the way of winding the rope, and the environment in which it is used.
2 For complex winding or inorganic room, gearless transmission elevators should be equipped with specially designed steel wire ropes.
