Elevator control system can play a role in elevator maintenance!

Nov 02, 2018

As a vertically transported vehicle, the elevator has become as indispensable as a car. At present, China's elevator holdings rank first in the world. Many elevators operate at high loads because of improper elevator selection, low number of elevators, and so on. A huge base, a high load carrying capacity, and even a one-tenth increase in the failure rate will affect a large number of users. As a special equipment, the elevator is unattended and serves the public. The safe and reliable operation of the elevator requires the joint efforts of all parties involved.

There are many factors related to the stability and safety of the elevator, which are inseparable from the selection of the production parts, the maturity of the design, the quality control of the installation, and the quality of the maintenance. The current elevator will provide one year of maintenance after the delivery of the user, during which time most of the equipment itself will be disposed of. When delivering the subsequent use, the most critical point related to the quality of the elevator is the quality of maintenance. According to the "Special Equipment Safety Supervision Regulations", the elevator maintenance period is 15 days, there are 26 maintenance items every half month, 43 maintenance items per month, and 66 maintenance items per half year. There are 74 maintenance items in the year. In the elevator maintenance, the following types of work must be handled: 1. Inspection, adjustment and replacement of the loss parts, such as guide shoes, wire ropes, and sheaves. 2. Lubrication and cleaning of moving parts, such as lubrication, degreasing of various sliding, rolling and gear transmission connection points. 3. Validity check and action test of safety devices, such as safety clamps and bumpers. 4. Fastening of frequent moving parts, such as adjustment of contact points of hall doors and car door locks. 5, cleaning work, such as the sill and other key parts. 6. Tightening inspection of electrical components, such as dust cleaning and cable connection tightening in regular electrical cabinets. The reliable execution of these tasks determines the failure rate and safety of the elevator. However, many current factors have reduced the quality of maintenance.

The amount of elevators has expanded dramatically, and the current elevators are stored in many problems. The chain of responsibility is not clear enough; the number of elevator maintenance technicians is lacking, and the amount of elevators for each person's maintenance is too large; the market competition is fierce, and the unfavorable forms of competition such as the call and private maintenance make the time and quantity of maintenance shrink due to the decline in profits; It is difficult to quantify, and the degree of maintenance is difficult to monitor. These reasons contribute to the risk of elevator use.

Article 6 of the “Elevator Supervision and Inspection and Periodic Inspection Rules” stipulates: “The construction unit or maintenance unit shall ensure the construction or daily maintenance quality in accordance with the relevant safety technical specifications and standards, and fill in the construction or daily maintenance. Relevant records or reports, responsible for the quality of construction or routine maintenance and the relevant documents, the authenticity of the materials and the consistency with the physical objects.” However, due to the difficulty in timely quantifying the quality of maintenance, the above “authenticity and Consistency, which is generally measured by sampling or long-term use feedback, reflects a relatively slow delay. More change and innovation are needed in this area.

At present, a lot of new things have been born around the safe and reliable operation of the elevator. For example, the application of the Internet of Things in elevator operation monitoring in elevators, from the perspective of data statistics and multi-party scheduling, strengthen the supervision of elevator failure rate and maintenance effect; the application of software for elevator maintenance management and GPS personnel positioning, electronics The application of technology such as sign-in, from the perspective of process control, is trying to ensure that the terminal personnel of the maintenance are in place.

The elevator control system controls the operation of the elevator and also pays attention to the situation of the elevator outside through various fault protection forms. The control system has specific data on the elevator's operating conditions, personnel operations, switching actions, fault nodes, and time. The control system should also play a role in supporting the management and simplifying part of the maintenance work in the maintenance and control of maintenance. Take the part of the maintenance-related functions that can be realized and being realized by the one-machine system of Monarch Control Technology Co., Ltd. as an example:

1. The identification of elevator maintenance features, such as a series of actions such as overhauling, entering and leaving the car roof, experimental safety switch, and power failure during a period of time.

2. The supervision of regular maintenance shall be carried out once in 15 days in accordance with the requirements of the Regulations. The system can identify the features of the maintenance features. If it is not maintained for a long time, it should promptly stop or stop using it.

3. Provide tools to simplify maintenance work, such as periodic automatic braking force detection, distance indication showing safety clamp action test under human intervention, automatic switching operation monitoring of the next cycle of regular maintenance, automatic detection and operation of each floor of the door. Quantification of effects.

4. The records of operations within the maintenance period are documented to ensure the traceability of maintenance work.

5. Simplified operation mode that can be simplified to an automatic maintenance project with one-button operation.

The quantification and monitoring of the maintenance process is an important means to ensure the quality and safety of the elevator operation. Let the maintenance work traceable, let the elevators that have not been timely guaranteed to withdraw from the service before the accident, and make the maintenance work easier for the maintenance workers to ensure the quality and save time to complete the maintenance work. Through the fixed maintenance operation steps, the minimum cost of inspection and maintenance is performed by comparing the archived files with the empirical data. Outward extension, combined with technologies such as the Internet of Things and electronic identification, is believed to provide more quantitative and regulatory means for managers who want to control the quality of maintenance. These directions are also worth digging deep, and everyone is welcome to provide valuable comments.
