Adjustment of elevator square brake
Elevator brake faults mainly include: detection switch failure, brake contactor damage caused by freewheeling resistance fault, and drag brake caused by large brake clearance (there is a regular upper and lower amplitude jitter in elevator operation! Small should suspect the encoder), the opening noise is too large. The following mainly introduces the adjustment of the opening gap.
Place the elevator on the top floor (preferably on the buffer) and power off.
Visually measure or measure the gap with a feeler gauge between 0.1-0.2mm. If it is larger, it should be adjusted (almost no use is smaller).
First adjust one of the brakes.
Loosen the guide nut on the four screws of the fixed brake, and then screw the four bolts to the same angle with a small gap. Lock the guide nut and measure the clearance. If it does not meet the requirements, repeat the adjustment.
Adjust the other brake in the same way
Adjust the brake detection switch: first tighten, slowly release, then loosen 120 degrees (experience value) after hearing the sound. The more synchronized the two switches are detected.
Power-on test brake: run from the lower station express train to the upper station, to the third floor when the power is cut off, observe the braking distance should meet the requirements, otherwise re-adjust.

Brake force adjustment
The adjustment of the brake should be carried out under the condition of elevator inspection. Firstly, the bolts at the 3 and 4 sides of the brake spring are loosened in the stop state.
Adjust the nut 4 so that the length of the spring reaches the specified braking rate. (The length of the spring determines the amount of braking rate, the specific value refers to the factory setting, or the actual measured torque).
Finally tighten the mother 3.
Note: Loosen the double nut, the spring is long, and the car may move. Therefore, the car should be fixed when adjusting.
Brake arm movement stroke adjustment
he brake coil 7 is turned off.
Loosen the brake arm adjustment bolt 9 and the nut 8.
Push the release handle 12 to either side to fully extend the brake push rod, turn the bolt 9 into contact with the push rod end, and then rotate one turn to tighten the nut.
The brake arm stroke adjustment method on the other side is the same as the above method.
Power on the coil.
The gap between the brake drum 11 and the brake pad 10 is measured. The initial standard value is 0.2-0.3mm.
The gap between the brake drum 11 and the brake shoe 10 is as close as possible to the left and right sides. If the clearance is too large, a large noise will be generated during braking.
After the adjustment is completed, the nut 8 on the adjusting bolt 9 is tightened to fix the adjusting bolt 9.
As above and below, the left and right gaps do not meet the requirements, and the requirements can be met by adjusting the bolts 9 on both sides.
